When it comes to our nightly dreams I truly believe every one of us can get inspired by them, but today I will talk about dreams in the sense of goals.
Last month I wrote a post on how you can motivate yourself with music. Even though it is a great method by itself, you can develop it by creating a motivational book which I call a book of dreams.
What is a book of dreams?
First I should mention that it is the tenth album by American rock band The Steve Miller Band, which I had no idea about before I wrote this post.
You can think of it as a regular notebook which you should use to write your goals and add images to inspire yourself. If you want to lose weight, write a page about why you want to lose weight and add a few photos of a slim person. If you want to start with bodybuilding you can write a page on why and add photos of bodybuilders or hot women. For some reason beautiful women seems to inspire a lot of people from both genders.
A book of dreams is also a great method to figure out what you really want to do since you force yourself to put your goals and dreams into writing so anyone could understand it.
Make it a morning ritual
For some reason a lot of people get inspired to do things when they are lying in bed waiting to get asleep. This could be because they just read an interesting book or blog, got inspired by some music or simply took the time to begin thinking about what they really want to do.
The problem about this is that your inspiration and motivation will be gone when you wake up the next day. Because of this I highly recommend you to get up 15 minutes earlier and do a morning ritual where you read your book of dreams and spend a few minutes thinking about what you want to do.
It may sound trivial or even boring, but just a few minutes in the morning looking at photos will most certainly inspire you for the whole day.

I normally jot down my thoughts in a diary or a document (for this purpose alone) and sometimes even on my mobile, depending on whichever is handy at that moment. It is really helpful, because I have found that at times, I forget some interesting idea that came up in my mind the other day
Sounds like a good idea. Honestly lately I have gotten into such a routine of getting up early and getting ready for work, taking the dog out, making my lunch and then driving to work that I don’t stop and just think for a second. I dont really even sit down for a second to even have breakfast or to just read something like the newspaper or anything. Your post reminds me that I need to take the time to sit and take a moment to breathe, relax and just take life in for a minute or two. Take a few minutes to talk to my wife and kids before I go off to work. Life is too short to rush around.
Now that is what I call inspiration. But allow me to add that dreaming and motivation alone will get us nowhere. It is important that as we get inspired, we must immediately put it into action. There are many factors that should be built into one’s character before he can achieve his dreams.
Great point Walter. The main concern in this post is to get everyone to motivate themselves in the morning so they have the whole day to act, instead of motivating themselves in the evening.

It’s really good way to get inspired with music.
I’m going to start doing this tonight, writing down the things I am inspired to do – the dreams I have, and will take a look at it each morning to try to find something concrete I can do that day to make those dreams happen.
I’m getting a nice new notebook this afternoon which will be perfect for this. (I love a new blank notebook – it’s so full of promise)!

I used to do the same right every morning. Music is really one motivating & bring freshness the whole day.
