If you have spent time searching for different methods of making money online you may have heard about Garry Conn. I’ve been a long time subscriber of GarryConn.com and even if I don’t comment very often I think there was a time when he had something interesting to say.
Creating a dictatorship
Lately Garry decided to stop accepting comments on his blog. Advice #1 popular bloggers will give you is to have a close connection with your readers and create interesting discussions on your articles. By placing duck tape on his visitors Garry is actually saying that he is right, and you are wrong.
Changing his design
Mistake number two was taken when he, at the same time, decided to change his design for something awful with only one purpose. The purpose of getting more clicks and earn more money.
I’m the first person to admit that I’m not very good at design and therefore my blog isn’t a masterpiece. But according to me it’s easy to read my articles and that’s all that matters.
I’ve done it as well
Actually I’m not saying that he’s not allowed to do it or that it will be a big mistake. I’m just saying that he will lose his regular visitors and may hurt his brand image.
Almost one year ago I did the same thing on one of my old blogs about file sharing. I lost all my regular visitors, lost most of the links to me and no one speaks about it anymore. At the same time I make enough money to eat once a day with just one single site.
If you don’t care about your visitors it’s a great method to earn more money, but if you do care, you can’t use an awful design that hurts your eyes when you try to read.
Update #1: I’m not sure why, but now Garry decided to remove all of his entries about this matter. And therefore there’s no link to his post.
Update #2: After a few months Garry changed his mind again and actually allow comments again but they are far as many as they once were. He also changed his writing style from being personal to focus on search engines. A shame according to me since I stopped following him, but as long as he is happy..

I can understand the importance of trying to make money, but I don’t understand why your visitors or regulars would stop coming to your site cause of your theme. If they like your content then it should be ok.
This is just my opinion
The reason is that people do not like spam sites and getting tricked to click on advertising. If you have a theme were it’s difficult to read your text, visitors will not spend time trying.
One important factor is your header. Regulars are used to click on the header to get to the firstpage. You’ve done this great with a beautiful header. If you head over to Garry Conn, he changed his natural header to show advertising.
Garry Conn is a fraud. At first he comes across like he is a genuine person trying to help people but in the end all he wants to do is steal your money! That is why is site is now complete garbage. He has scammed enough people that he doesn’t need to maintain it anymore. DO NOT TRUST GARRY CONN!

Interesting idea to create a site on. I have no knowledge on if he scams people and because of this I will not comment on the matter. With that said I think the site needs to add more information and proof. Right now the screenshots only show how Garry offers to build a niche site for money, which is not illegal or a scam.
